One Day is an upcoming film directed by Lone Scherfig. It was adapted by David Nicholls from the 2009 novel of the same name. It stars Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess. Focus Features, which holds worldwide distribution rights (excluding UK free-TV, which is to be held by Film4), will release the film theatrically in the third quarter of 2011.
PLOT : The story revisits the lives of Emma (Anne Hathaway) and Dexter (Jim Sturgess), who first meet as they graduate from the University of Edinburgh, on 15 July, St. Swithin’s Day across twenty years.
